Spent the morning getting our hands dirty for a good cause.

Our students gave up their Sunday sleep in to help plant native trees at the Community Planting Day, hosted by the Town of Victoria Park and Friends of Jirdarup.

Turns out gardening is actually pretty fun. It was the perfect excuse to switch off, get outside, and do something good for the local environment. Low key therapeutic and definitely worth the early start.

Walks to the Foreshore with Mr Buswell and Jim’s Burgers for dinner 🤝

The craft room was serving creativity 🎨🔥 Mr K gives you charcoal and ink and somehow everyone turns into an artist. Students created abstract figure field mixed media pieces and absolutely understood the assignment 🤏

The fire pit is officially the place to be 🔥. DIY kebabs, s’mores, cosy vibes and plenty of good chats. It’s quickly becoming a Friday night favourite for our students. Thanks Ms Wulkow and Jack Allen (Student Council Rep) for organising everything and making it all happen 🤩✨

Low key Sunday vibes at Portal Lounge 👾. While some were chilling, plenty were out here grinding assignments, catching up on homework, and tackling that mountain of laundry before Week 8 hits. 😮‍💨📚🧺”

A pretty solid recipe for a great Saturday ✨

Friday night: Seb led the first Student Council run activity, a gaming night, which the students received well. Ms Wulkow and Jack Allen kept the fire roaring while cooking burgers, which were a huge hit and where delicious 😋. Miss Bella ran a squishy toy making activity that was messy, creative, and a lot of fun. Another great start to the weekend after a busy week of school.
