// DUBBO COLLEGE ON SHOW AT THE DUBBO SHOW 🐑
The Dubbo College Senior Campus Show Team has been hard at work preparing for this year's Dubbo Show Prime Lamb Hoof and Hook Competition.
Under the guidance of Mr Gay and Charlie Quilty, students carefully assessed their lambs, selecting the best animals from the flock to form three pens of three for competition. With judging based on presentation, quality and evenness, narrowing the selection was no easy task.
The team then gave the lambs a final wash and groom before transporting them to the Dubbo Showgrounds, where they competed against strong entries from across the region.
Their hard work and dedication paid off, with the team finishing an impressive 9th out of 40 entries in the competition.
The lambs were later sold for $2,500 to Inland Petroleum, with the proceeds generously donated to Dolly's Dream, supporting its important work in raising awareness about bullying and promoting positive mental health for young people.
Congratulations to all students involved on their commitment, teamwork and outstanding representation of Dubbo College Senior Campus throughout the competition.
