Tomorrow we offering Parent Literacy Information & Helper Session.

This session is for any parent or carer who:
📚 would like to volunteer in the classroom to support students with reading and writing
📚 is interested in learning more about how reading and writing are taught at school
📚 would like practical ideas for supporting their child’s literacy development at home
📚 wants to better understand take-home readers and how to use them effectively

During the session, we will explore how literacy is taught in the classroom, what reading and writing support may look like when volunteering at school, and simple, practical strategies families can use to build confidence and success in literacy at home.
Whether you’re hoping to volunteer in the classroom or simply want to learn more about supporting your child’s literacy development, we’d love to see you there!

On Tuesday 25/08, we will be holding a Father’s day stall for our students to choose a gift for their special person.

Tickets must be pre-purchased using this Compasstix link: https://compasstix.com/e/km10vno0h2

$6.00 per ticket. One ticket per student which allows them to purchase 2 small gifts.

Ticket sales are open and will close Monday 24/08 at 11.59pm.

Students will visit the stall during school hours with their class.
No physical tickets, teachers will have a list of students who have pre-purchased.

A gift bag will be provided.

Our Coding Robotics Team proudly represented Dromana Primary at the annual RoboCup Robotics Tournament, taking on some challenging tasks and competing against some very talented teams.

We couldn’t be prouder of the way our students demonstrated resilience, determination, teamwork and problem-solving skills throughout the tournament. When things didn’t go to plan, they showed amazing perseverance, adapted their strategies and kept working together to find solutions.

It was a fantastic experience and a standout performance for Dromana Primary School, showcasing not only our students’ robotics skills, but also their ability to overcome challenges and never give up.
A huge congratulations to our incredible team — you represented our school with pride, passion and persistence!
