Our students led the Melbourne Storm out for their first game on Thursday night.
At Holy Family, we intentionally create opportunities for our students to dream big and experience joy!
We want to them to be inspired through multiple opportunities.

Congratulations to Siarra who won the Community Spirit and Leadership Award, presented and offered with thanks to the Hon Julian Hill MP.
Siarra makes other people better. She displays courage, humility and determination in everything she does.
What has set her apart is her willingness to fail, overcome obstacles and improve from it. This attribute is critical to Leadership and shows everyone how to raise the bar.

Our Junior and Senior Discos were a hit. We have extended out to now having music playing at playtimes, and the moves just keep coming. Music is great for connection, belonging and developing a positive mindset, which is demonstrated so well at Holy Family

Join us for our Cookbook Launch and to thank Glenis for her support in creating these wonderful opportunities. There are some wonderfully diverse recipes included, a real representation of who we are as a community. Thanks to Cultivating Communities, Foundation House and Centre for Multicultural Youth as great partners in this journey. This book will be a legacy piece of that great work.

What an honour to win another Monash Health Award. This year we were recognised for our work in improving the health in our community through our Healthy Eating programs. We are so grateful for community partners like Monash Health and Myuna Farm who help provide these great opportunities to our students. Monash Health Myuna Farm

Our big refurbishment will be starting soon. With more natural light, more accessibility and improved child safety features, our students will have the classrooms the school building they deserve.

It was wonderful to have two time winner of the Melbourne Cup Sheila Laxon come and speak to our students last week, and bring this year's cup along for students to hold. Sheila spoke to our students about having big dreams, commit to what you love to do and how girls compete as equals in the sport. Thanks to Sheila and the VRC

Our Principal Mr Sharp made a special Pilgrimage for the Jubilee Year of Hope. He was able to attend a special prayer service with Pope Leo and visit many significant places in Rome, Loreto and where his Confirmation Saint lived, Assisi. St Francis of Assisi remains a strong influence to all Catholics with his able to serve the disadvantaged and care for nature. Melbourne Archdiocese Catholic Schools

We are very proud of our 9 students that qualified and competed at the divisional athletics. Our specific work on building on students strengths and interests is really allowing our students to thrive. This work will be seen in coming days with our Dance Crew and Art Exhibition at the Doveton Show, which provides our students an real audience to show their talents.

Our Soccer Academy in action. Our students get a real voice. Each student can choose from Sport, Social Justice, Kitchen Garden, Dance, Chess or Visual Arts to learn for an hour a week. They can develop their strengths and work with students from other levels for great peer learning.

Our kitchen garden provide our students an opportunity to learn about healthy foods, growing conditions and cooking.
