💌 A little sneak peek of my thank-you cards for my September Online Card Class kits!

I’ve made a few different versions using the gorgeous Beautiful Ordinary Life DSP, and these will be heading out with the kits to say a little thank you for registering. 🥰

I’ll be getting the kits packed and posted early next week, so I’m getting excited to see these make their way to everyone!

Well, tonight’s card definitely had me talking! 😂

I was playing with the beautiful Neutral Noel Suite and decided to keep things nice and simple with the layout.

And apparently, I also decided that Early Espresso is now called “Choc Chip”… 🤦‍♀️🤣 I couldn’t seem to get the name right all night!

I used the gorgeous pumpkin images from the DSP Glow of Harvest (POTM) and added a little extra colour and depth with the Watercolour Pencils. I love how this simple little addition really brings the pumpkins to life.

And then there’s my earlier version…

I used Cajun Craze as the matting and for the die-cut foliage. Now, Cajun Craze isn’t usually a colour I reach for, but I have to admit, I LOVE how it works with those gorgeous rose hips. Sometimes a colour just needs the right partner! ❤️

Two cards, the same basic design, but completely different feels.

And that’s exactly what I love about keeping things simple, change the colour and a few little details and you have a whole new card.

Thanks to everyone who joined me tonight. I hope you had as much fun as I did… even if I did spend half the night calling Early Espresso the wrong name! 😂🤎

Tonight I’m keeping things simple!

I’ll be showing you this month’s Product of the Month and proving that you really don’t need a lot of products to create a beautiful card. ❤️

I’m pairing it with the gorgeous Neutral Noel Suite from the upcoming September–December Catalogue, but we’re going right back to basics with a simple card layout.

Sometimes simple really is best! 😉

I gave you all the choice on Tuesday night for the front of my card, the white embossed background or the DSP.

Well… most of you voted for the white, so I obliged! 😂

But there were a few of you who were adamant that the DSP would work best, and because I did promise I’d make another card using it… here it is! 😉

Now that you can see them side by side, I want to know…

Which one do you prefer? 🤔

Tonight’s Valley in Bloom creation.

Thank you to everyone who joined me for tonight’s live! 💕 It was lovely to spend some crafty time together.

I had so much fun playing with the Valley in Bloom Suite and creating this pretty fancy fold card. I’ve adapted a fold from a tutorial by Lisa Curcio and changed it up to suit my design.

I especially love how it looks when you open the card… that little window in the centre gives you a gorgeous peek through to the Lily of the Valley flowers.

The beautiful DSP really does do most of the work on this card, with a little embossing and a few extra details to finish it off.
