As Semester 1 comes to a close, we would like to celebrate the many achievements, learning experiences, and memorable moments shared by our Nightcliff Primary School community.
Over the past 20 weeks, students have participated in sporting events, swimming lessons, camps, leadership opportunities, cultural programs, excursions, and community celebrations. From Sports Day and Gala Days to Book Week, the Sea Breeze Festival, Science excursions, and the Indonesian Survivor Program. There has been no shortage of success and engagement.
We are incredibly proud of our students for the enthusiasm, resilience, creativity, and respect they have shown throughout the semester.
A huge thank you to our dedicated staff and supportive families for helping make these opportunities possible. We wish everyone a safe, happy, and relaxing holiday break and look forward to welcoming students back on Tuesday 14 July 2026 for another fantastic semester ahead!

Our Preschool Sports Day was a fantastic success, filled with fun, laughter, and community spirit. It was wonderful to see so many families cheering on the children and supporting them throughout the morning.
The children gave their best in the running races, showing determination and joy, while the piggyback parent race was a crowd favourite!
A big thank you to our Year 6 students, whose leadership and encouragement helped our preschoolers feel confident and excited to participate.
Back at Preschool, children enjoyed free-choice tabloid games led by the Year 6 students, with families joining in the fun. It was a wonderful way to finish a memorable morning together.
Thank you to everyone who helped make the day such a success! ππ€

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Colours Day π
This Friday, Week 7 (29th May), Nightcliff Primary students are invited to come to school dressed in one or more colours from the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander flags as we celebrate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Colours Day.
The colours of the Indigenous flags hold important meaning and significance for many Australians, and this is a wonderful opportunity for our students to show respect, learn and celebrate together as a school community.
Students are encouraged to bring a gold coin donation, with all funds raised going to the Indigenous Literacy Foundation.
