Today, our children explored the wonderful question: Where does our food come from? 🌎

Through images, open-ended discussions and hands-on exploration, the children identified whether different foods are grown in the ground or fields, come from animals, or are made from ingredients. 🥬🌾🥚🐄🍓

These meaningful conversations encouraged curiosity, critical thinking and a deeper understanding of the world around us: while helping children make connections between the food on their plates and where it begins! 💛

We are so excited to introduce Chantelle, our wonderful Chef here at Bluebird Early Education Botanic Ridge! 🩵

Chantelle has recently been promoted from her role as Kitchen Hand to Chef, and we are incredibly proud to see her step into this exciting new position! 👏✨

Chantelle plays such an important role in our Bluebird community, preparing fresh, nutritious and delicious meals for our children to enjoy each day. 🍎🥕🍓 Her passion, dedication and care shine through in everything she does.

Spring has sprung at Bluebird! 🌱☀️ And our vegetable garden has had a beautiful little refresh! 💚

Our children are excited to get their hands dirty, explore where our food comes from and watch their seeds and seedlings grow over the coming weeks. 🌿👩‍🌾👨‍🌾

From planting and watering to observing, nurturing and eventually harvesting, our garden provides so many wonderful opportunities for learning through hands-on experiences. 🌱✨

Our seasonal menu has been thoughtfully designed to offer our children a wonderful variety of fresh, nutritious and colourful meals that celebrate the flavours of spring. 🌱🍓🥕

From nourishing breakfasts and wholesome lunches to delicious afternoon teas, our on-site kitchen team are busy creating meals that are not only nutritious, but enjoyed around the table together. 🥰

Not only is Bluebird where learning takes flight… today, our educators take flight!” ✈️🐦

Today, we transformed Bluebird Botanic Ridge into our very own airport as we celebrated our incredible educators with an Educators Day celebration like no other! 🧳✈️

From the moment our educators arrived, they were welcomed aboard Bluebird Flight 2026. With boarding passes, passports, a photo booth and plenty of surprises along the way! 🎫📸🌏

Our educators travelled through a series of fun airport-inspired experiences, celebrating the incredible people who make our learning community so special. 💙

🌿💙 WELLNESS WEDNESDAY 💙🌿

Today at Bluebird, we’re focusing on something incredibly important… helping children learn how to recognise, understand and manage their big feelings. 🫶

Our calming strategies poster gives children simple tools they can use when they’re feeling overwhelmed, frustrated, worried or simply need a little moment to reset. 🌈

We know that self-regulation is a skill that develops over time, and our role is to provide children with safe, supportive strategies they can practice every day.

Because sometimes, little hearts just need a little help to feel calm again. 💙
