πΊπ Inclusive Cultural Celebration at Aspire Cranbourne East! ππΊ
Today, we celebrated Ganapathy Chaturthi by embracing and sharing the cultural traditions of one of our educators with the children. β€οΈ
During group time, we shared a story about Lord Ganesha, exploring how the festival is celebrated, the traditions behind it and why this celebration is meaningful to many families. πβ¨
The children were fascinated and curious to learn about Ganeshaβs elephant head and his human-like form, asking questions and sharing their thoughts. ππ
To extend their learning through creativity, the children created their own elephant artworks using paper plates, exploring shapes, colours and imagination. π¨π
It was a beautiful opportunity to promote cultural inclusion, respect, curiosity and appreciation of different traditions within our learning community. ππ€
β¨ When we share our cultures, we create opportunities to learn, connect and celebrate together. β¨
