Have your say on traffic improvements in Kalkallo.

As our community continues to grow, Hume City Council is reviewing traffic conditions in Kalkallo as part of its Local Area Traffic Management (LATM) Program.

The review covers the area bounded by the Hume Freeway, Donnybrook Road, Merri Creek and Gunns Gully Road.

If you're a parent, carer or local resident, this is your opportunity to share your local knowledge and highlight any traffic concerns you'd like Council to investigate as they plan for future improvements.

Consultation is now open and closes on Sunday 23 August.

Together, we can help make our local roads safer and more efficient for everyone in our growing community.

Strong schools are built on strong leadership, and today we proudly recognise the exceptional leaders who guide our Ngayuk College community.

Australian Primary Principals Day is an opportunity to acknowledge the dedication, care and commitment our Principal Team brings to the College each day. Their leadership helps shape a culture where students feel valued, staff are empowered to thrive, and families are welcomed as partners in learning.

As we continue to grow together as a new school community, we are grateful for leaders who embrace innovation, champion excellence and remain focused on creating the very best opportunities for every learner.

Thank you for your passion, your service and the positive difference you make every day.

Happy Australian Primary Principals Day!

Honouring the world's oldest continuing culture.

Earlier this term, our community came together for a Smoking Ceremony as part of NAIDOC Week celebrations. This important Aboriginal cultural practice symbolises cleansing, respect and connection to Country, providing a powerful opportunity for our students and staff to reflect, learn and come together.

Recognising excellence and celebrating success.

Last week's Semester One Awards Assembly was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the hard work, growth and achievements of our students throughout the first half of the year.

Congratulations to every student who received an award, and to every learner who continues to challenge themselves and strive for success. Whether you were recognised on stage or cheering on your peers from the audience, we are incredibly proud of your hard work and determination throughout semester one.

Hockey skills in action!

Our students had a fantastic time taking part in today's Hockey Victoria incursion, learning new skills while enjoying the fast-paced game of hockey. It was great to see students getting involved, challenging themselves and having plenty of fun along the way.
