👋 I’ve been a little absent from here lately, so I thought I’d pop in and explain why.
A burst pipe in our house has turned life upside down over the last couple of months. We’ve already lived in two Airbnbs over the past eight weeks and are about to be moved again. Doesn’t look like we’ll be home for another month or so.
I don’t have my art supplies and studio, which means I haven’t been able to spend time creating in the way I normally would.
On top of that, I’m juggling a Masters degree, parenting teenagers, and all the usual chaos that comes with everyday life.
It’s been a season of adapting, problem-solving, and trying to find pockets of creativity where I can.
While I haven’t been painting or working in the studio, I haven’t stopped making altogether. I’ve been experimenting with craft, particularly felting, and it’s been giving me the creative outlet I’ve needed during this strange in-between time.
