As part of their Career’s Week in Adelaide, Year 10 students visited Adelaide University, the Metropolitan Fire Service, Port Augusta Technical College, AIE, SARDI research facility at West Beach, The Career’s Expo, The National Wine Centre, and Build Theory and Martec Electrical (Nick Martens). Our fun activities included visits to IKEA, Holey Moley and Woodville Bowl.
All the students nominated their most worthwhile as the Careers Expo at the Adelaide Showgrounds. All fun entertainment was enjoyed by the students.
There were many unmissable moments on camp. These included South Aussie with Cosi at the Careers Expo that many a photo was taken with, Will winning both games of bowling, fireman Sam coming down the pole with a coffee cup in one hand, Chase falling at bowling, photo shoots at Ikea, personal tour guides Murphy Starr and Miss Webber at Adelaide University, making mocktails at the National Wine Centre, getting waves from people in cars, playing Duck, Duck, Goose in Botanic Park, the rock collection at Adelaide University, shooting the fire hose at MFS and the tour of the multi-million dollar house (after renovations).
