Dust off your costume box. Start thinking about your favourite book character and get ready to dress up, celebrate and enjoy all things books! 📖🎭

Last night some of the VET Hospitality crew contributed to the success of the UMFNL Presentation Night working alongside Cam Harmer from Pickled Parrot Providore to cater and serve 150 meals. Set up of the venue was also done by them.
Thanks also to 9B who helped to put out tables and chairs Thursday afternoon.

💈✂ Crazy hair day will help support our World's greatest shave event on Tuesday 1st September at the Middle years hub during our last Whole school assembly with our current leadership team. The 2027 crew will also be announced.

Hair from school community members will be shaved, coloured and waxed. Stay tuned to find out who is participating!

Celebrating Year 7/8 Textiles students who have finished their leather keyrings this round! Jordan, Takiyah, Ned, Symone, Eli, Aydin, Mitch, Hamish and Jax have done a fantastic job learning new leatherworking skills and creating their own unique designs. Well done! We look forward to sharing the next groups creations.

Celebrating Year 7/8 Textiles students in the first round of furniture restoration: Sassi, Leo, Lenny, Lawson, Daisy, Ebony, Chad, Oliver, Cooper, Bently and Chase. Today, students presented Mr O with his restored teacher chair. Students took apart the chair patched missing foam and completely reapolstered the chair across 4 lessons. They almost completed a second chair which will be completed by the next group. We look forward to bringing more positive change to our school environment, while learning about textiles and restoration. Well done Learners!

Celebrating Year 2 and Years 3/4 in finishing their artworks inspired by Jeanie Bakers book 'Windows'. They look amazing with the afternoon's light in the art room. Well done to our very creative students!
