🔢 🌟 Maths in Action in Year 2! 🌟 🔢

2A and 2P students have been busy mathematicians, working together to strengthen their place value skills and tackle word problems using number lines.

It was great to see lots of mathematical thinking, discussion and teamwork as students shared their strategies and worked together to solve problems! ➕➖🧠👏

⭐️ Yindyamarra to our Award Recipients! ⭐️

Congratulations to our Yindyamarra Achievement Award recipients who were honoured during assembly this afternoon.

Brooke Douglas from Murrumburrah High School was also acknowledged today with a deserving Yindyamarra Achievement Award. She has spent her Work Experience week assisting our Kindergarten class with many different tasks and she’s had the best time getting to know all of the students in Kindy!
She was awarded for, ‘Being a wonderful help and superstar during her Work Experience’.
We thank Brooke and wish her the best of luck in her future career.

Well done to all of our award winners today!

Lights, Camera, Action!!!

This morning our Year 1 classes combined to act out traditional fairy tales!
We used our voices and bodies to act out different characters and scenes.
Our audience then needed to guess what book was being acted out and we had a lot of fun!
