SUPERGEMS | Recently, our Year 10 students took their learning beyond the classroom as part of the SuperGEMS program, an initiative that promotes connections and opportunities for women in engineering within motorsport.
During a behind-the-scenes visit to team garages, students had the opportunity to speak directly with racing engineers and drivers, gaining valuable insight into how race cars operate and how multiple systems work together. They also explored the factors that contribute to engine reliability under different racing conditions, supporting their current studies and research.
A fascinating experience that brought engineering concepts to life and highlighted the exciting possibilities for future careers in STEM.
