Streamlined lean strategy below (read this):
Most people jump into a deficit but don’t focus on preserving muscle, which creates a two steps forward one step back approach.
Lose fat → lose muscle → regain muscle.
Instead, optimise your approach for body composition (i.e. keep muscle, lose fat).
1. Calorie deficit (you know this)
Tip: go for a calorie deficit range instead of a strict target for lifestyle flexibility.
2. Body composition protocol
→ Protein protects muscle (1.7g protein per kg of bodyweight)
→ Sleep protects muscle (min. 6.5 hours per night is essential)
→ Strength training tells your body to keep the muscle and use fat for energy
Don’t skip any, all 3 are key.
3. AI for tracking (MyFitnessPal is dead)
→ AI now tracks nutrition accurately + efficiently
→ You can use it to optimise your training too
→ And monitor your progress with data + progress pics
Across all the tools available for body composition, AI is now the clear winner.
If you want to build a bespoke AI Body Coach which is aligned to your tastes and goals, comment “AI” and I’ll send the blueprint over.

Think we’re overdue for a catch up, huh?
Been back posting the last few days after a lot of dipping in and out and I’m excited.
Here’s the thinking behind it:
8 months ago I first started tinkering with AI from a health and fitness perspective – and it was so powerful I rolled it out to my clients (who also love it).
Then I created the Blueprint and people genuinely thought it was fantastic, which surprised me a bit honestly.
Not because I didn’t trust the product…
But because I wasn’t sure if the world was ready to trust AI with their bodies and health.
With the experience I’ve had on my own journey, as well as what I’ve learned from supporting people master their own health systems, something’s becoming increasingly clear…
AI will transform the way we manage our health. Our bodies. Our nutrition. And our performance.
And that’s my goal for 2026.
To spread the word and show people how to use AI to reap all the benefits.
It’s never been easier to get into shape than right now, believe me haha. Good time to be alive.
And plenty more to come.
Could’ve done with catching the watch bug a little later but she’s pretty isn’t she? I’ll be back for it.
Cheers,
David

The way you track your nutrition in 2026 should look nothing like 2024.
I spent 12 weeks testing AI as a body composition tool with the big 3 (ChatGPT, Gemini, and Claude)… and went from 15 to 10% body fat.
Then rolled it out to clients, and it’s been fantastic results all round.
→ The old method:
Calorie calculators, MyFitnessPal, guesswork at restaurants, resets every time life gets in the way.
→ The new method:
A personalised AI Body Coach that knows your targets, your taste preferences, and your lifestyle…
And adapts with you in real time.
I turned the whole system into a Blueprint you can set up in under 20 minutes.
📲 Comment “AI” and I’ll send it over.

Please swipe to the end for my sister’s photographic brilliance.
And if you like a drink, here’s how to survive the social season:
Because I know this time of year can be particularly challenging.
I got back from London two weeks ago and told myself it was time to undo the damage from my social sprint.
But there’s been a lot going on.
My rate of progress has probably halved.
if you’re anything like me, you find not hitting targets extremely frustrating.
With that in mind, here’s how I’m thinking about the next few weeks:
→ Make progress where you can.
→ Limit the damage where you can.
→ Enjoy yourself.
AI is extremely useful when it comes to helping you strike the balance.
A few months ago I rolled out my bespoke AI to my clients and it’s been a resounding success.
The high level: they love that they can still eat out, still drink, still get results.
→ They snap photos of menus and end up making better choices.
→ They offload decision fatigue.
→ They continue making progress in real-time.
This time tomorrow I’m opening a private door to system access.
5 spots only so I can quality control.
If you want to find out more just shoot me a DM.
And I will ironically respond as a human, not my AI clone.
This is how you make progress, maintain it, and come out swinging in 2026 –
While everyone else floods the gym on Jan 1st.

On Friday’s we go deep (apparently) haha.
The common thought is “don’t try to be perfect, be consistent” and there’s a lot of value in that, but I’d be lying if I said I completely agree.
Perfection is impossible. But if striving for it can yield you the best result…
And you can have a healthy relationship with failure to be perfect…
Is it really failure if you achieve the best outcome?
Okay beer o’clock ✌🏼 happy weekend.
