It’s just about a year since its formation and Kho Kho Australia has hosted the first ever Kho Kho National games, where players from many states including Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne, Adelaide and Brisbane came together to compete in 8 teams, men & women, in Sydney at Marsden Road Public School. Raj Sura, the president of Kho Kho Australia with the help of his team of dedicated members and volunteers and the incredible support from the school’s principal Gazula and her team saw this event to fruition.

The school ground facilitated with the Kho Kho poles & mats which enabled the players to take the game to its exhilarating finale, enjoyed by the spectators.
NrityaNiketan School of Dance, had a small contribution by being involved in the event as a sponsor and Neeta Sura as a volunteer.
Three cheers to the entire Kho Kho team, the players, coaches, parents, sponsors and volunteers who made this a grand success inspite of many challenges including a record hot day on Saturday.
