Playgroup Mondays 🤩
Today we joined the collie library and child parent center for playgroup and rhyme time to welcome the introduction of the new paint the town READ program focusing on literacy skills in the early years

The children joined in rhyme time singing along to nursery rhymes with special guest Bubbles the octopus 🐙
Did a meet and greet with bubbles and joined in some activities and story reading 📖

Tired Fridays call for easy engaging activities to help the children with their emotional regulation while also providing fun learning opportunities 😊
Todays request was playdough 🙌 this was a fun quiet sensory and fine motor activity that both the bigger kiddies enjoyed while the baby napped 😴

Mid week fun 🤩
Today the kids had fun with our fizzing hearts STEM activity which also incorporated fine motor skills
Using bi carb soda and white vinegar the children watched the chemical reaction between the two as the hearts fizzed and eventually the colours merged together
They enjoyed watching and predicting what was going to happen

They then wanted to put there hands in it 🙈 so we made oblack and let them go crazy 🤪
They had so much fun with this and when it was time to clean up they decided they had to get wet too 🙈🤣

Some snaps from our big kids this week ☺️
This week we started our pre kindy focus learning some things that will help them when they all head off to big school next year 😭

We began learning letter sounds they enjoyed matching the letter disks to the picture cards

Some fine motor practice with some pre writing patterns- completely child led this was a request following on from the ones we do with whiteboard markers

And to finish off we did story time with our kindy legs as we call them learning to sit on the mat and answer questions from the story they all loved this 🥰🙌

Happy Tuesday 🥰🎉
We are back after the long weekend and here are some happy snaps from todays adventure ☺️

Community involvement and socialising is a big part of our program and the children love visiting there favourite places 🙌 today we joined collie child parent centre for a water play morning as part of their summer play series everyone had so much fun 🤩
