Young Archie Coffs Harbour Exhibition ✨🎨
Today I had the privilege of visiting the Young Archie Coffs Harbour Exhibition at Yarrila Arts and Museum — and I cannot recommend it enough!
It was incredible to see the creativity, imagination and unique stories of young artists from across our region displayed in a real gallery setting.
We are incredibly proud of our Bonville Public School Young Archie finalists. Their artworks are proudly on display as part of this amazing exhibition, with 117 young artists’ works featured in the gallery.
Although our students may not have taken home the major awards this year, their achievement is something truly special — their artwork has been selected, displayed and celebrated on the walls of a professional art gallery. They are officially gallery artists!

I encourage all families to visit and celebrate the incredible talent of young artists in our community.

While you’re there, take the opportunity to visit the Archibald Prize exhibition in the next gallery space too. Seeing the work of established Australian artists is a wonderful way to inspire curiosity, creativity and aspiration in our young artists — reminding them that every great artist starts somewhere.
