Our Service Manager, Cate, had the privilege of flying down to Melbourne over the weekend to attend and speak at the National Play, Playing, and Playwork Conference. Two presentations, one of playwork + OSHC, covering her peer reviewed paper co-written with Angus Gorrie and one on Therapeutic Playwork.

She also got to meet Joe Brumn, the creator of Bluey! 🌟 kids got very excited when she told them this today.

Some amazing banana and oat cookies made today with Gabi and some of our kids! Smelt like banana bread 😋😋

Tomorrow (Friday 12th) is colour run!!

Don’t forget to wear a white shirt you don’t mind getting colourful 🩷❤️🧡💛💚🩵💙💜

Wow! What a busy start back!
Don’t know if you’ve noticed yet but we LOVE to get messy! Bit of mud MasterChef, the beginnings of our loose parts being used for bases and must I say, the crates have been a HUGE hit to use as cricket stumps (we are playing loooong test match days here at OSHC).

The last is a poster created by one of our best- this child wants to educate everyone about the impact climate change is having on our planet. If you see random photos up and about, you know why.
