Book Week Excursion 2026 Behind the Scenes at Book Warehouse Grafton!

We had a fantastic afternoon celebrating Book Week with a completely FREE behind the scenes excursion to Book Warehouse Grafton!

Our group of 5 children and 4 adults enjoyed exploring the store, discovering what happens behind the scenes and, of course, browsing plenty of wonderful books.

A very special thank you to The Book Warehouse Grafton, who kindly provided everyone who attended with a FREE book to take home!

We also purchased some new books for the Kaitlyn's Starlight Tutoring office collection, giving our students even more stories and resources to discover while supporting a fantastic local business.

Experiences like this are part of what we love about Kaitlyn’s Starlight Tutoring. We want learning to extend beyond the tutoring desk by providing opportunities for our students, families and members to connect, explore, learn and have fun together.

We are looking forward to providing even more excursions, activities and learning experiences for our students and members in the future!

Starlight Book Club Is More Than Just Books!

We loved celebrating Book Week 2026 with our Starlight Book Club at Flame Trees Cafe & Cakery!

Our Book Club is designed to be casual, welcoming and social, a place where members can relax, enjoy friendly conversations, share their thoughts about our Book of the Month and connect with others in the community.

It is not about having the “perfect” answer, analysing every page, or even finishing the Book of the Month. Members are welcome to come along, join the conversation, listen to others, share what they have read so far, have a laugh, build friendships and enjoy a relaxed space where everyone can feel included.

We were also excited to welcome another new member who recently joined through our Starlight Membership.

Starlight Book Club is about more than our regular Book of the Month discussions. Members also have opportunities to take part in special activities, excursions and events, creating even more chances to socialise, have fun, enjoy new experiences and discover new learning opportunities together.

During Book Week, members were offered the opportunity to join us for a special behind the scenes excursion at The Book Warehouse Grafton.

In October, Starlight Book Club members will also have the opportunity to join us as we attend the Cosplay event being hosted by Grafton Library. Another fun way to get out, connect and enjoy something a little different together!

Starlight Membership is $50 annually and includes access to Starlight Book Club, which is limited to just 10 members, plus additional member benefits and special opportunities throughout the year.

If you enjoy books, casual conversation, meeting new people, building friendships and being part of a friendly, supportive local group, we would love to welcome you to our growing Starlight community.

🌟 A very special moment for Kaitlyn’s Starlight Tutoring 🌟

Seeing these certificates together means so much to me.

In 2026, I was incredibly proud to be recognised as a Finalist for Woman of the Year in the Women of the Clarence Awards, as well as having Kaitlyn’s Starlight Tutoring named a Finalist in the Clarence Valley Business Awards.

Kaitlyn’s Starlight Tutoring has grown from a passion for helping others learn, build confidence and feel supported.

Being recognised both personally and as a business is something I am incredibly grateful for.

Thank you to every student, parent, family, book club member, customer and community member who has supported Kaitlyn’s Starlight Tutoring. Every lesson, recommendation, purchase, kind word and bit of encouragement has helped us get here.

These awards now have a very special place in the tutoring office and are a reminder to keep dreaming, growing and making a difference in our community.
