Story house Chirnside park would like to congratulate Tara to her appointment as service manager following Janene’s move to the new Story House Mooroolbark.
Tara has been second in charge at Chirnside since its opening three years ago and we know she will lead it into a wonderful new era as its manager.
Congratulations Tara! Chirnside is in very capable hands! 👏🏻

On Friday, we officially celebrated Janene as she finished up in her role as Service Manager after three wonderful years.

We wish her all the very best as she begins an exciting new chapter as Service Manager at our Story House service in Mooroolbark. While we farewelled her today, our services will continue to work closely together—so she’ll still be a familiar and welcome face.

It was a heartfelt send-off, with the children creating beautiful artworks and drawings just for her.

Thank you, Janene, for your incredible leadership at Chirnside Park and for helping create such a supportive, connected community. You will be truly missed 💛

Drum roll please!!!! 🥁
The voting for a new addition was certainly very active and in the end (thanks to some interesting additions to the ticks) it was just too close to call so we crowned two winners!
The Thai yellow curry will be added to a menu cycle and then the burrito bowl!
Yummm.
Soon we will be asking a new question of our children and feelings so keep one eye on the board.

We were so excited recently to win a connectedness award for chirnside park. Tara and Chantelle in particular were instrumental in paving the way to help a family in need. Very proud of our story house family at Chirnside park.

This week our children are helping choose a new meal to add to our menu. The winner will be added once a day on a different day of the week for five weeks - so everyone gets a taste! My vote definately goes to the Thai yellow curry 🤤
Don’t worry the losers will get another chance to be voted on. Voting closes Friday the 20th March.

❤️ Wear Red / Hearts for Shae ❤️

We want to share that Shae, a mum in our Toddler Room, is currently in hospital in a critical condition after suffering sudden heart failure.
As a community, we are coming together to raise funds to support Shae and her family during this incredibly difficult time, helping ease financial pressures over the coming months so they can focus on her recovery.

Today our senior kinders continued learning with our Bee-Bots! They experimented with simple coding commands, took turns programming paths, and celebrated every successful move. We love watching their confidence and teamwork grow!
