CMC Education Maths Department Head with 20 years of teaching and tutoring experience with proven results. He can teach any student, no matter their year or level in school.

Cherrybrook Maths Coaching is run by David and Clarinda Luo, with Remi as their furry sidekick. Our service offers one-to-one coaching, or the more popular option of small group coaching, with up to 4 students per class. Classes range from 1 to 1.5 hours, personalised to suit each student. Dave is a dedicated high school mathematics teacher, who has been teaching in schools and tutoring privately

for almost 20 years. He can teach all courses, from Year 7 to Ext 2 (4 Unit) Mathematics in Year 12. Dave is able to assess a student to determine their understanding of high school maths, filling any gaps that could cause difficulty understanding future maths concepts as they progress through school. School classrooms often cannot stop for every student to understand a concept, but the one-to-one or small group coaching that Dave runs allows for each individual student to understand concepts properly. He is able to adapt to different learning styles to accommodate to every student. Dave aims to not only increase a student's understanding but increase their overall confidence and enjoyment towards maths. Clarinda's job is to handle behind-the-scenes and wrangle their 4 young children so Dave can teach. Remi has one of the most important roles, working as an emotional support dog who is available for those who feel more anxiety around maths, or for anyone who just wants to give doggy cuddles! She is a 2 year old Australian Shepherd who loves nothing more than a good scratch on her belly and chest.

Exciting news! CMC Education is expanding.

We're opening a second centre in Pennant Hills. It's at Unit 12/380 Pennant Hills Road, under 5 min walk from the station. Classes will continue to operate in Cherrybrook.
Opening Term 4, with enrolments open now. We'll be bringing our small school-specific groups with us, for students at Loreto Normanhurst, Mount St Benedict College, Pennant Hills High School, Abbotsleigh and more.

Same method, same team standards, same commitment to helping students find Clarity, build Mastery, and walk in with Confidence, now in a second community.

Big news: Cherrybrook Maths Coaching is now CMC Education.

Over the past year we've often referred to ourselves simply as CMC. That name now reflects our method: Clarity, Mastery, Confidence.

The letters haven't changed. What we've built around them has.
We're still the same team, with the same commitment to helping students nurture confidence and inspiring success. Our roots are still Cherrybrook Maths Coaching, and that history is part of what makes this next chapter exciting.
