We have here a group of mates who late rego'ed - and happened to place well, with one of them placing 11th. Then we were left heads up between Jackie and Raymond, even with Jackie's 4:1 lead in chip stack - they went blind all in and Raymond reversed sweep to win. Congrats, they shared more than $600 of the kitty between them!

Despite the consistency of Liam, Ramin and Sebastian, nobody could best Barry who had a remarkable run to claim victory in his first EVER game with APL, pictured here with Liam who was happy to share the victory photo. What a way to make a first impression - congratulations and well done! 👏

We have some familiar faces make it to final after agreeing to pay the whole table. The game quickly went to heads up where we had two gentlemen who consistently go deep take the best two pole position. Congrats Nicholas and Liam as they chop and go their merry ways.

38 runners in our midweek game, pushed us about $100 over the guarantee.

Last week we had Cameron take the cup, which applied pressure to their whole crew to get a good placing this week. The crew did not disappoint with three of them making final table.

Unfortunately only one of them made it heads up, and this time the spotlight was on Nick the Bunq - as he wins heads up flopping a straight against Liam, making light work of the field, taking home more than $200! Congrats!

Another fun filled Friday Freeroll at Chatswood RSL, with 47 coming down to the felt to try their luck and enjoy the end to the work week with some top quality poker.

The final three decided to chop the remaining prizepool with play continuing for the remaining $20 and shot at the title.
Max Tan proved to be an unstoppable force come crunch time, claiming the top gong with his rivered straight eliminating the remaining players in a three way all in. Congrats Max, and well done to all who cashed!

What a bumper way to end the week! The atmosphere was buzzing as 56 loyal players came down to finish the workweek in style at Chatswood RSL.

Players started to hit the rail quick quickly following a deal made to pay the final table. Heads up whittled down to Rick and Anolin, with pocket rockets launching Rick to the outright victory after counterfeiting Anolin’s Two Pair with 97. Congratulations! 👏

39 runners in our midweek game, gave us a nice bump to the pool.

Our usual suspects were there with an eye on the prize. A Chatswood deal to pay the final table was made, congrats!

And then there were two. Heads up with two different stories - Cameron who has made it heads up a handful of times but could never take the cup, and Sebatian our new regular at the felt facing his first ever heads up.

First hand, A10 v A10, a double all in mirror to a chop. Second hand A2 v A2, another double all in mirror...but a miracle marginal 2% flush to Cameron in the freeroll mirror to take the win and almost $200. Congrats, his marginal call curse from months back finally lifted.
