💐 Happy Early Childhood Educators’ Day! 💐
Today is about celebrating the incredible educators who bring so much warmth, care and heart to Three Little Birds every single day. 🤍
We prepared some special gifts, a lovely lunch and decorated our staff room as a small way of saying thank you — we see you, we appreciate you, and we truly value everything you do. 🌿✨
At Three Little Birds, we believe that creating a beautiful early learning environment starts with looking after the people within it.
We’re incredibly proud to have a stable, long-standing team with a very low staff turnover, with many of our educators having been with us for 2–6 years.
For young children, familiar faces matter. When children are surrounded by educators who know them deeply — their personalities, routines, little preferences and emotions — they develop a stronger sense of security, belonging and trust.
A happy and supported educator brings patience, warmth and positive energy into the classroom. And a happy, comfortable and connected team creates an environment where children can feel happy, comfortable and connected too. 🥰
Today, we celebrate our educators and everything they bring to our little community.

🩰✨ Last week, two very special ballerinas visited Three Little Birds!
We were delighted to welcome Miss Sophie and Miss Jasmine from Dream Maker Studio for a beautiful First Ballet Experience with our children. 💕
The children enjoyed watching a wonderful ballet performance before joining in themselves! They explored some basic ballet movements — stretching, pointing their toes, balancing and moving gracefully to the music. It was so lovely to see our little dancers watching carefully and giving everything a try! 🥰🩰
At Three Little Birds, we love bringing different creative and artistic experiences into our learning environment. Ballet offered the children a wonderful opportunity to explore music, movement, self-expression and the performing arts in a fun and age-appropriate way. 🌷✨
A big thank you to Miss Sophie, Miss Jasmine and Dream Maker Studio for bringing such a magical and memorable experience to our little dancers! 💕🩰

🔬🚀 Junior Einstein Science Adventure! 🧪✨ What an exciting day of discovery and wonder!
Today, our children enjoyed a special Junior Einstein Science Adventure incursion with Ranger Jamie, where they had the opportunity to become little scientists and participate in a variety of fun, hands-on science experiences.
Throughout the adventure, the children explored fascinating concepts including ice, gases, air and force. 🧊💨 They watched in amazement as experiments created clouds of fog, investigated how air can create movement, and discovered how different forces can make objects move.
One of the highlights was creating their very own paper rockets! 🚀 The children were excited to make their rockets before using air and force to launch them high into the sky. There were lots of smiles, predictions and excited reactions as they watched to see how far their rockets could travel!
These engaging experiences encouraged the children to observe, question, predict and experiment, supporting their curiosity, problem-solving skills and understanding of the world around them.
A big thank you to Ranger Jamie for bringing science to life and providing such a fun, interactive and memorable learning experience for our little scientists! 🔬🧪🚀✨

🖤💛❤️ Celebrating NAIDOC Week at Three Little Birds Early Learning 🌿
This week at Three Little Birds, we proudly celebrated NAIDOC Week by learning about the rich cultures, histories, and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
Through storytelling, Indigenous-inspired art, music, nature play, yarning circles, and hands-on experiences, our children explored the importance of caring for Country, respecting culture, and celebrating Australia’s First Nations peoples.
We believe that introducing children to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives from an early age helps nurture empathy, respect, curiosity, and a strong sense of belonging. Every conversation, artwork, and shared experience is an opportunity to build understanding and appreciation for the world’s oldest continuing cultures.
As an early learning community, we are committed to embedding Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives into our everyday curriculum—not just during NAIDOC Week, but throughout the year.
Thank you to our wonderful educators for creating meaningful learning experiences that inspire our children to become respectful and inclusive citizens.
