An incredible achievement for a very special cause 💙🏊‍♀️

Congratulations to our Class of 2017 alumna Madi Armstrong, who recently completed the extraordinary challenge of swimming the English Channel, raising funds and awareness for cancer research in memory of her father.

Taking on one of the world’s most challenging open-water swims is an incredible feat of courage, strength and determination, made even more meaningful by the purpose behind it.

We are incredibly proud to celebrate Madi and this inspiring achievement. Congratulations, Madi!

✨ We are so proud of former School Captain Georgie Rankin (Class of 2015) and Jasmyn Smith (Class of 2022) who are are both enjoying outstanding AFLW careers!

Last year, Jasmyn and Georgie generously welcomed our AFL students to Melbourne, taking the time to share their experiences and provide an unforgettable behind-the-scenes insight into life as elite athletes.

More recently, Jasmyn spoke with womens.afl about her playing career, reflecting on her journey to the AFLW and how she balanced the demands of a busy sport schedule with her studies at Emmanuel. Watch the full interview here https://bit.ly/4vmphWJ

You can catch Jasmyn and the Western Bulldogs take on the Gold Coast Suns at People First Stadium on Saturday 15 August, while Georgie's Geelong team will be in action on Sunday 30 August.
