The University of Melbourne’s Dilin Duwa Centre for Indigenous Business Leadership, invites you and your networks to participate in upcoming research focus groups in Moree, NSW.

We are interested to speak with you because of your community’s experience of Frontier Wars and the ongoing impacts that still are noticeable today. We see the focus groups as an opportunity to understand the views of Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal members in your community.

Our research team includes lead investigators, Associate Professor Michelle Evans (Koori), and Professor Judy Atkinson (Jiman / Bundjalung), Dr Ash Francisco (Wiradjuri) along with Associate Professor Julie Moschion, Bill Pascoe, and Angela Chen.

The project team is building evidence of the intergenerational economic impact of historical frontier wars. This will be complimented by stories and responses out of these focus groups towards understanding about the impact of the past on the present day experiences in towns like Moree and talk about the possibilities for the future.

To that end, we cordially invite:
- Aboriginal members to our 21 May 2024 focus group (10am – 12:30pm); and
- non-Aboriginal members to our 22 May 2024 focus group (10am – 12:30pm).

Both sessions will take place at the Dhiiyaan Centre, Moree.

Please contact Angela Chen to RSVP or for more information on 0468 756 800 or by email at [email protected]
