A flashback to a photoshoot from two years ago. 🖤

I look back at this photo now and see so much more than the creative work.

I see the person I was then — and the person and artist I have become.

I have come such a long way. I’ve worked incredibly hard to build my art practice, my creative space and a life that feels authentically mine.

Over these two years I have grown, changed, learnt, experimented, fallen down, got back up and kept creating.

And somewhere amongst all of that, I stopped trying to work out who I was supposed to be as an artist and started to really understand who I am.

I’m moving into a new season now with a much stronger sense of my creative identity — bringing together colour, floristry, wearable art, painting, texture, movement and all the different threads of my story.

The creative woman in this photograph was finding her way.

The woman looking back at her now knows where she is going.

A new season. A deeper sense of self. And so much more still to create.

DISCOVERY — A New Series

I’m stepping into a new season of my life, and with it comes a new body of work — Discovery.

This series is about allowing myself to explore without needing to know exactly where I’m going.

Colour, movement, layers and intuitive mark-making become part of that discovery. Paint is added, disrupted, covered and revealed again. Circles and repeated forms emerge amongst scratches, drips and spontaneous gestures — each layer carrying something from the one before it.

There is energy and chaos, but there are also moments of stillness.

For me, Discovery represents where I am right now — stepping forward, experimenting, letting go of what no longer needs to be carried and being open to what might emerge next.

It’s a new season creatively and personally.

Not everything needs to have an answer.

Sometimes we simply need the courage to explore, play and discover what comes next.

Proud as punch — we have a School Prefect in da house!! 🙏🏽❤️

A very proud Mum moment and another little part of our journey that I’m so excited to share.

Being a solo mum, Joshua and I have travelled through a lot of life together, and I couldn’t be prouder of the incredible young man he is becoming.

Josh consistently turns up, gives everything a go and has a natural way of quietly leading by example. He’s kind, creative, determined and always willing to get involved — and now he’s been voted in as one of the Prefects at his school! 🥹❤️

He’s also a huge part of my own creative journey. He works behind the scenes at the studio and in my business, helps when I need an extra pair of hands, listens to all my ideas and is genuinely my number one supporter and motivator.

There’s something pretty special about building a life and a business while watching your child grow alongside you.

My heart is so full and I’m incredibly excited for him and this next chapter.

Monday afternoons in the studio 🎨🌏

Our young artists are currently exploring painting projects, drawing and 3D objects, with this week’s work also opening up beautiful conversations around culture, identity and family heritage.

I loved seeing Peruvian and Fijian influences naturally emerge through their artworks — through colour, imagery, pattern and the stories they chose to represent.

This is something I really value within creative education: giving children the freedom and confidence to bring who they are, where they come from and what matters to them into their creative practice.

Rather than everyone producing the same artwork, each student is encouraged to develop their own ideas, experiment with materials and create something that feels personally meaningful.

Art can be such a powerful space for identity, belonging, connection and storytelling — and these young artists continue to remind me just how naturally children express that when we give them the space to do it.
