Seerah Night, Round One. Alhamdulillah.
Last night we gathered our students around the fire at the Qourtyard for the first ever Seerah Night.
We began with the why. Why learn the Seerah? Why is loving the Prophet ๏ทบ the key to becoming a good Muslim? Because to know him is to love him โ and the goal of our lives is to be like him in every way we can.
Then we split into two groups.
The younger ones (Years 1โ3) journeyed from Prophet Ibrahim ุนููู ุงูุณูุงู
down through the lineage to Abdul Muttalib, ending with the Year of the Elephant โ the night the world quietly changed.
The older ones (Years 4โ6) went deeper. From Ibrahim and Ismail ุนูููู
ุง ุงูุณูุงู
, to the rise and fall of Jurhum, the takeover of Khuzaสฟah, leadership eventually settling with Qusayy, and the rule of Quraish. We covered Hashim and the trade journeys of winter and summer. We stopped at Abdul Muttalib returning to Makkah โ and weโll pick up there next month, in shaa Allah.
We then read a hadith from the Shamail, learning what our Beloved ๏ทบ looked like โ because how can you love someone you cannot picture?
Each child made a pledge to live one sunnah this month: to do good things with the right hand, just like the Prophet ๏ทบ.
And we closed the night the way weโll close every Seerah Night, in shaa Allah โ singing Qasidah Burdah together around the fire.
A complete package: Seerah. Shamail. Sunnah. Qasidah.
To know him is to love him. And loving him is the anchor.

A playgroup where your little one can play, laugh, and learn about the wonders of Islam โ all in a warm, safe, and joy-filled space.
For children aged 2โ4 years, Qaswa Qids is a guided playgroup where children make friends, explore curiosity, and discover the beauty of Islam through songs, stories, crafts, and thoughtfully led activities.
And while the littles are busy being gloriously loud, itโs also a chance for mums to connect and mingle with other like-minded mums in the middle of all the beautiful chaos.
