Hi, I’m John Duff, growing up I was your typical kiwi kid, out on the rugby field running a muck, when I was 18 I severely injured my ankle and required surgery to fuse it together which forced me to give up rugby altogether. I believe everything happens for a reason and if I didn’t injure my ankle I would never have found my true passion, health and fitness. Over the last couple of years, I have competed in many bodybuilding shows and through hard work and determination I was able to achieve my goal of winning an overall and a national title of WFF Mr Australia 2016. I have always loved the health and fitness industry since discovering it however competing has taught me a lot about myself and cemented my passion for the sport and industry. In 2016 my fiancé and I had our first child, a little baby girl. She was due to arrive the day before I was stepping on stage in the IFBB Omara State show but she must have known her Dad worked extremely hard and arrived a couple of weeks early. To have a healthy support system in place is key to achievement, whether it’s your partner, your friend or your friendly PT. I understand what it’s like to start from the bottom, to work hard for what you want, to have a set back and sometimes lose motivation from what you want to achieve. Everything that I have been through and have learnt along my journey has made me the trainer I am today. I am here to help YOU set your goals and be behind YOU every step of the way until WE achieve them.
