I’m so excited to have Hannah Blakeney from Little Bellies Nutrition joining us at NannyIgnite 2026.

Hannah holds a Bachelor of Human Nutrition, has completed additional studies in paediatric nutrition, and is trained in the SOS Feeding Approach. Her knowledge and practical approach are going to be so valuable for nannies.

She’ll be presenting on Managing Picky Eating with Confidence, which is something so many of us navigate in our roles. This session will give you practical tools and a better understanding of how to approach mealtimes in a calm and confident way.

With over a decade of industry experience, I’ve been fortunate enough to attend some incredible professional development courses and events, both in Australia and overseas. Those experiences shaped me, expanded my knowledge, and gave me the confidence to grow in my career.

Here in Canberra, there is nothing like that specifically designed for nannies, and I wanted to change that. NannyIgnite isn’t just a training day, it’s more like a conference for nannies, a chance to learn, be inspired, and take your skills to the next level.

As both a nanny and an agency owner, I’ve always been passionate about improving my knowledge, especially when it comes to child development and the nanny industry. NannyIgnite is my way of sharing that passion and creating a space where Canberra nannies can meet, network, and support one another. 🔥

When I was coming up with a name for this nanny training day, I had a shortlist, but NannyIgnite quickly became my favourite. It just felt right, even before I started floating it with a select few back in February.

It ties beautifully to our slogan, “Igniting Passion for Nanny Excellence”, and honestly, so much has already happened for me personally and professionally this year that it feels like my own spark for the nanny industry has been reignited. I wanted to share that energy and passion with others.

I’m so passionate about CPD and supporting nannies to grow, especially here in Canberra, and NannyIgnite feels like the perfect way to do that. 🔥
