A friendly reminder to all parents and carers that the first day of Term 2 will be a student-free day. This means that ACT public schools will not be open to students on Monday 20 April 2026.

Student-free days are for staff development, enabling teachers and schools to plan in a student-free environment.

Are you registered for Parent Portal?

All ACT public schools use Parent Portal to communicate with parents and carers. Once registered, you can let your school know if your child is sick or explain an absence, receive the school newsletter, make payments and more.

To register, you’ll need an access code and registration link from your school. You’ll also need to set up an ACT Digital Account if you don’t have one already.
