Squad training #6 for UniSport Nationals complete. Congratulations everyone on making it through a fairly sturdy training. Thanks to Tom from Seiikan for helping keep the Dan grades on track and Helios for sticking with it in the Dan grade group. One more squad training next week before we head to Perth the following week!

Shiai night for August done and dusted! Congratulations to Wes, Bling and Yuki O for taking out their respective competitions on the night! We had enough time for a Kōhaku-sen at the end and the white team captained by Noa won the day against the red captained by Jane. It came right down to the wire with both taishō battling it out into enchō. Thanks to the work of the shimpan, scorers and volunteers we ran two shiaijo. Special thanks to Jonathan from UC Kendo Club and Wes from Seiikan Kendo Dojo for coming along!
