Well put!
Acting Immigration Minister, Alan Tudge, who apologised yesterday for his behaviour in Canberra, says that he initially voted against the same s*x marriage act because of:
"... my view that marriage is an institution that traditionally has been primarily about creating a bond for the creation, love and care of children".
At the time, he was married with children and having an affair with a married woman with children.
He has also expressed concern for child abuse in Australia.
Despite all this, he has kept a Sri Lankan couple and their two Australian born daughters locked up, and sharing one bed, for years.
Does he really value families? Is he really a fit and proper person to have control over other people's children, or indeed anyone?
If he is genuine about his views, then he should save the family, a married couple with two children, imprisoned on Christmas Island.
Release your prisoners, Mr Tudge.
