As we close one very special chapter and begin another, our heart is filled with gratitude, pride, and excitement.

After seven wonderful years at Insight Early Learning, we want to sincerely thank all the amazing educators, children, and families who made our journey so meaningful. It has been an absolute privilege to work alongside such passionate and caring people, creating beautiful memories and a positive learning environment together. We will always cherish the friendships, support, laughter, and experiences shared throughout the years. Insight will forever hold a special place in our heart 💛

While goodbyes are never easy, we are also incredibly excited to begin a new journey with Artemis Early Learning Throsby. Thank you for the warm welcome already shown to me us. We look forward to building strong relationships with the children, families, and educators, and becoming part of a nurturing and inspiring community.

We are excited to bring our passion, experience, and dedication into this new chapter and continue making a positive difference in the lives of children and families.

Insight Wonder - Art Program 🎨🖌️

Today we introduced our new art program to the children! Over the course of the rest of the year children will engage in a separate curriculum from their rooms. This curriculum will be solely focused on different styles of art. Children will have the opportunity to join our new art space in our reception area dedicated to our project.

This project aims to promote creativity, individuality and confidence!

Partnerships with Families 🪏🪴

Last year, one of our families donated 3 tomato plants to our service. This was wonderful as it promoted each child’s learning about building awareness and respect for our natural environment. Over the year, we learnt that tomatoes need to be planted towards the beginning of spring for the fruit to grow and ripen properly. This also promoted parental partnerships within our service. This week, the children from preschool have also learnt to harvest the tomatos and learning different ways to use them through learning and cooking.

Come follow along holidays with the Nursery children

The past 2 weeks for holiday program went smoothly, actively engaging the children in various different learning experiences. We had a visit from Trent from Koori Kinnections visit us. The children were very excited being able to learn about Indigenous Culture. We explored Sensory development, building understanding with our outdoor environment, learning about AUSLAN and exploring wildlife animals.

Yesterday, Insight celebrated National Auslan Day!

The rooms came alive as children explored simple signs and learned the Auslan alphabet, building new ways to communicate and connect.

National Auslan Day is a wonderful opportunity to raise awareness of Deaf culture, promote inclusivity, and empower children with additional tools for communication. 🩵🤟

A huge thank you to Trent from Koori Kinnections for travelling all the way from Sydney to engage the children in Aboriginal cultural learning. During this incursion, the children had the opportunity to explore traditional songs, create natural body paint using ochre and water and learn about important cultural tools such as clapping sticks and boomerangs.

This incursion supports children in developing a strong sense of identity and connection to Aboriginal culture, fostering respect for diversity and a deeper understanding of Australia’s cultural heritage. ❤️🪃

Introducing Story time with Nursery 📚

Currently in the nursery rooms, the educators are introducing story times with our little ones. Each time the nursery explore different texts, they are exploring different interests from animals to vehicles and introducing books about family and belonging. These story telling experiences provide each child with different illustrations, language and sensory feel.
