The Radford College Development Foundation, in partnership with the Boorer Foundation, is proud to offer a life-changing scholarship opportunity for one student commencing Year 7 in 2027. This fully funded scholarship supports a student who has shown outstanding potential but may not otherwise be able to attend Radford College due to financial hardship.

The scholarship covers:

• 100% of Tuition & Capital Levy (Years 7–12)

• Up to 100% of additional fees

• Designed for a student who will thrive at Radford and contribute meaningfully to college life.

Just before the 2026 school year commenced, we were delighted to officially unveil the new Health Care Centre.

Proudly funded by the Radford College Foundation through years of generous donations by our community, the new Health Care Centre sits at the heart of the campus and provides a calm, professional and accessible space designed to support student wellbeing. Featuring modern treatment areas, private sick bay beds, accessible facilities and a dedicated external entrance, the Centre ensures students can receive timely medical care with dignity and privacy.

A heartfelt thank you to the Radford College community for their generous support that helped the Foundation to deliver this important, student-focused facility.

The Foundation was delighted to be part of this year’s Grandparents’ & Friends’ Day celebrations in the Junior School. The event provided a wonderful opportunity to connect with our extended College community, share updates about the Foundation’s initiatives and highlight ways families can support future projects.

Our Board members, Alistair, Donna, Lee and Ben engaged in many meaningful conversations with visitors throughout the morning. The Foundation stall attracted strong interest, with our much-loved Radford teddy bears proving particularly popular.

Overall, the morning was a great success, helping to raise awareness of the Foundation’s work while strengthening connections with grandparents and friends who continue to play an important role in the life of the College.

This week, we welcomed the Chen family to Radford College as they visited the plaque created for the tree they generously purchased through Radford College Foundation’s ‘Foundation Avenue’ tree initiative. Florence, in Year 3, and Faye, commencing Pre-Kindergarten in 2028, will see this tree grow alongside their years at Radford.

This meaningful contribution is not just a gift to the College grounds - it’s a symbol of growth, legacy and lasting connection. Their tree will flourish for generations to come, standing as a reminder of their enduring support for our students, our campus and our shared future.

The Foundation Avenue allows for a total of 53 trees to be planted; 32 trees remain and can be purchased by families with a tax-deductible donation of $3000 towards the Building or Scholarship fund.
