Congratulations to Foundation Board Director, Carrie Leeson who leaves a wonderful legacy at Lifeline. Carrie is stepping down after 12 years as Chief Executive Officer.

Yongmin’s charity concert was an unforgettable experience! Yongmin, a year 7 student captivated the audience with his exquisite classical performances, infusing the room with a vibrant energy that truly united our community.

Yongmin’s parents were thrilled to welcome over 80 guests, including College Principal, Mr Chris Bradbury, Foundation Board Directors, staff, students, and parents, all of whom contributed to a wonderfully special atmosphere.

Thanks to everyone’s incredible generosity, Yongmin raised $763 for the Radford College Scholarship Fund, a vital resource that will support future students in their educational journeys.

A heartfelt thank you goes out to Yongmin for sharing his extraordinary talent, and to all attendees including the whose presence made the evening so meaningful.

We are proud to share that our Year 7 student, Yongmin Yin, is using his passion for music to give back to the community by hosting a special charity piano concert in support of the Radford College Foundation Scholarship Fund.

Yongmin chose to support the Radford College Foundation as a way of thanking the College community for its support and encouragement. He expressed, "I chose to support the Radford Foundation as a token of gratitude for providing me with a free venue for the concert, and for opportunities to perform at various Radford events. By supporting the Foundation, I would contribute to making a difference in other people’s education journey."

Audiences can look forward to an inspiring musical journey that spans the Baroque era, Romantic period, and modern works, featuring composers such as Chopin, Debussy, Mozart, Haydn, Rachmaninoff, and Australian composer Kats-Chernin.

This fully funded scholarship supports a student who has shown outstanding potential but may not otherwise be able to attend Radford College due to financial hardship.

The scholarship covers:

• Designed for a student who will thrive at Radford and contribute meaningfully to college life.

Just before the 2026 school year commenced, we were delighted to officially unveil the new Health Care Centre.

Proudly funded by the Radford College Foundation through years of generous donations by our community, the new Health Care Centre sits at the heart of the campus and provides a calm, professional and accessible space designed to support student wellbeing. Featuring modern treatment areas, private sick bay beds, accessible facilities and a dedicated external entrance, the Centre ensures students can receive timely medical care with dignity and privacy.

A heartfelt thank you to the Radford College community for their generous support that helped the Foundation to deliver this important, student-focused facility.

We are delighted to share the inspiring journey of Savidu, who joined Radford College as a Year 7 student through a Radford College Boorer Scholarship and recently celebrated his graduation.

Throughout his time at Radford, Savidu has embodied curiosity, commitment and community. The Boorer Scholarship opened the door to new opportunities, lifelong friendships and a deep sense of belonging within our college.

We proudly celebrate the graduation of our scholarship recipient, Ella whose remarkable journey over the past two years has been nothing short of inspiring.

Watching her grow in confidence, pursue her passions and embrace every opportunity has been a privilege for our entire community. This scholarship was created to open doors and support the next generation of Radford graduates.

As Ella steps into the next chapter of her story, we asked her to share how the scholarship has shaped her experience and supported her along the way.

We congratulate her on this significant milestone and look forward to seeing all that she will continue to achieve. Her dedication, resilience and generosity of spirit truly reflect the values of our community.

The Foundation was delighted to be part of this year’s Grandparents’ & Friends’ Day celebrations in the Junior School. The event provided a wonderful opportunity to connect with our extended College community, share updates about the Foundation’s initiatives and highlight ways families can support future projects.

Our Board members, Alistair, Donna, Lee and Ben engaged in many meaningful conversations with visitors throughout the morning. The Foundation stall attracted strong interest, with our much-loved Radford teddy bears proving particularly popular.

Overall, the morning was a great success, helping to raise awareness of the Foundation’s work while strengthening connections with grandparents and friends who continue to play an important role in the life of the College.
