Our session structure for 2027 is:
•Monday & Tuesday
•Wednesday
•Thursday & Friday

Children born in 2023 and before April 2024 are eligible for 2027 enrolment.

2027 enrolments are now open for ACT Public Schools ✨️

ACT public school enrolments for 2027 open this Monday 4 May at 8am!

The 2026 online enrolment form will be closed from 4pm Friday 1 May 2026. This will allow us to get the new 2027 form live at 8am Monday when enrolments for 2027 open.

If you’re enrolling your child at a new school for the remainder of the 2026 school year, the form will be available for your use from 8am Monday as well.

Online enrolments for the 2027 school year will open at 8am on Monday 4 May (term 2, week 3). 🎒

Every ACT child from kindergarten to year 12 is guaranteed a place at their local school where they can learn, develop and reach their potential. Our schools are welcoming environments committed to ensuring children feel safe, valued and have the chance to excel and be supported in their learning.

Enrolment will open for all students from preschool to year 12 who are starting at a new school in 2027.

What a special morning we had at Wombats Playschool today🥳 We all gathered (350 of us) to celebrate the year that was, our children shared their favourite songs, sausages were consumed, tattoos and face painting enjoyed and ice blocks eaten. We also celebrated the passing of the baton as we farewelled Liz, Sue and Lina , speeches were shared along with tears and laughter. We welcomed our new director for 2026, Glacy Burgess who with Mel and Lyndal and Sue in the office we know Wombats is in safe hands. Thanks for everyone who came and enjoyed and helped and from me Liz, thanks for an amazing 25 years at Wombats, you all have been a part of my incredible journey that I was lucky enough to have. Love to all and looking forward to seeing many of you out and about in Canberra 💛💛💛
