Lexington had its horses, Cincinnati its pigs. Covington will soon have its book benches -- 180-lb places to sit and decorated like open books.
on Wednesday, Kenton County Public Library will reveal the designs, which take inspiration from books ranging from "The Very Hungry Caterpillar" to "Charlotte's Web" to "Where the Crawdads Sing."
Local artists designed them, a City grant helped fund them.
