Update: The winners are Ngunnawal Art Club! Students have won a $500 voucher for art supplies.
Over 50 students have been working hard in the Art Lunch Club to create these chickens for the 2026 Royal Canberra Poultry Show. The team couldn’t choose between a realistic, feathered look and a wild, crazy party theme, so they happily combined both. The result is two unique chicken personalities!

Update: second place for Logan, well done!
Congratulation to Logan in Year 5 who has been selected as 1 of 3 finalists at the ACT Reconciliation Day art showcase.
Logan wanted to show that many hands, no matter where they come from, what they look like or how old they are, can come together and connect, showing respect and a shared understanding. If we celebrate our strengths and differences, we can try to repair the past for a brighter future.
The winner will be announced at the ACT Reconciliation Day event on Monday at 1pm, John Dunmore Lang Place. Well done to all students who entered the competition and good luck Logan.
