Thank you to everyone who supported our P&C Bunnings BBQ on father's day - from donating supplies, and volunteering your time you have stepped up for our students. We are proud to announce that these efforts did not go to waste - we raised a total of $2457.66. We hope to do it all again next year. 🌭

This week we were honoured to recognise and acknowledge the important work that our school support does for our school community.

From supporting students in our classrooms, completing administration tasks, ensuring our office and library run smoothly, and looking after our school grounds, we thank you for the important work that you do.

Help Us Help Our Kids – Sign Up for a 1-Hour Shift!

We heard you loud and clear! Based on recent feedback, we’ve shortened all remaining shifts for the upcoming event to just 1 hour.

If you can spare an hour (or two!), please sign up to lend a hand. Every bit of support helps the P&C raise essential funds that go directly back to our students. The money raised helps pay for fantastic extras like:
*Special visitors and incursions
*New sports equipment
*School environment and playground upgrades
*Fun in school events, to name a few

We can't do it without our incredible families. Thank you for your support, and we look forward to seeing you there!

Help Our BBQ Fundraiser! Volunteers and Donations Needed

Hello Southern Cross Early Childhood Families,

We are holding a Bunnings BBQ fundraiser on Sunday 6 September at Bunnings Warehouse Belconnen (15 Lathlain St). We need volunteers to help cook and serve, plus
donations of items (e.g., soft drinks and sauces) and funds to make it a success. Please reply by Friday 28 August to let us know if you can volunteer your time or donate items and/or money.

Even though the Bunnings BBQ falls on Father’s Day, this is a fantastic opportunity to raise money for our school. We want to make this our biggest fundraiser of the year, and this day will not run without the much-needed support of our wonderful community, so we strongly encourage families to participate. Monies raised from the BBQ will go directly to supporting
children at Southern Cross Early Childhood for excursions, playground maintenance, new sporting equipment etc.

We need volunteers for a range of roles for 3-hour blocks during the day. We are also
seeking donations for drinks, sauces, or funds to purchase kilos of sausages. Donations are an important part of reducing costs to the P&C and increases the overall fundraising margins.
