🚀📚 BYOD Exam Petition 📚🚀
Exciting news! ANUSA is spearheading a campaign that could greatly improve your exam experience. They’re pushing for Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) exams to improve the accessibility and convenience of the exam process, whilst reducing unnecessary stress🌟💻
Why BYOD?
✅ Accessibility: Many disabled students need assistive technology as an exam accommodation, but accessing ANU’s disability services can be difficult. BYOD exams ensure all disabled students receive the accommodations they need to succeed
✅ Better Exams: Typed exams are better for all students, since they are easier to complete and enable us to better engage with learning content and skills
✅ Less Stress: Many students have complained of greater stress and anxiety around handwritten-in person exams. Transitioning to BYOD exams will reduce the burden of students and alleviate unnecessary stress
✅ Workplace Relevance: No workplaces force their employees to handwrite legal analysis, so why should the ANU? BYOD exams better equip students will the skills they need to succeed in the workplace

ANU: Introduce Bring Your Own Device Exams by 2025!
The return to in person exams after years of remote learning has exacerbated stress for students across campus. Handwritten in person exams are an outdated concept, and are no longer relevant to the workplace. Despite constant and long term demand for ‘bring your own device’ (BYOD) exams, where ...

📣 Calling all Property Law students!📣
💻 During Term 2, the ANUSA College of Law Reps organised a lecture transcription editing programme for Property Law. Our volunteers corrected the automatic transcripts generated by Echo360 to ensure that people who are hard of hearing and others who need to access lecture transcriptions can get the most out of their academic experience.
🎓 We're eager to hear about your experience with the edited lecture transcriptions. Did they prove helpful in your studies? Your feedback will greatly assist us in refining the initiative and hopefully implementing them in future law courses.
📝 Please take a moment to share your thoughts by filling out this brief feedback form: https://forms.gle/i2PZCLKT51XJjbAL6
Your insights are incredibly valuable to us as we strive to better serve the needs of our student community. Thank you for your participation and contributions!

🎉🎉LAYING DOWN YOUR LAW BOOKS 🎉🎉
Law textbooks are expensive! So we have designed an event where you can get your law textbooks stress free…introducing Laying Down Your Law Books.
The concept is simple, give a book, get a book. Students can donate a textbook they have already used in exchange for one they need. First years or others without textbooks to give can buy second hand books at an affordable price. Come along to meet other law students and have a chat with your 2024 ANUSA reps :))
Event Details: 1:30pm 15th February College of Law Lawns (Thursday O Week)
The more books we have, the better the event! So come along with your old textbooks and get prepared for the term ahead. If you can’t make it but have books to donate, just message us on ANUSA College of Law Reps on FB or email [email protected] and we can collect them from you!
Please let us know if you want to be involved here: https://forms.gle/N84NBN1jhrwzEDpj9
