📌Updated advice: Masks in schools
Masks! We all know how important they are in helping slow the spread of COVID-19 and other respiratory illnesses in our community (and our schools).
We’re calling on our school community to mask up this winter if you can.
✔ Students in years 7-12 are encouraged to wear a mask at school in crowded indoor environments, where physical distancing can’t be maintained.
✔ Our school staff continue to wear masks indoors, other than when eating or drinking, or when teaching and able to maintain physical distancing.
✔ Visitors to ACT public schools must also wear a mask indoors when physical distancing can’t be maintained.

Do you have child with a disability or developmental delay transitioning to their next level of schooling in 2023?
During August you’re invited to attend a session to learn about practical ways to support your child as they move into either preschool, primary, high school or college.
These sessions are a great way to get an understanding of the supports provided across all ACT Public Schools. https://bit.ly/3IRuFdY

Our front office staff rocking their oodies and PJ's.
We hope everyone is relaxing over the school holidays -and still wearing their PJ's 😊😊😊
On the last day of Term 2, Arawang Primary School had a pyjama party! PJ's, jammies and oodies were encouraged and everyone had a blast - staff included.
What an amazing way to round off a busy term. Hope everyone is enjoying the break!

HOW CAN WE LEARN AND GROW TOGETHER?
Thank you to the Executive Team from Arawang Primary School who visited Bonython PS this morning.
We shared insights and discussed many concepts around leadership, vision, values, inquiry, curriculum, pedagogy and change processes.
We love to connect with our colleagues from across the teaching profession to support one another and grow together.
