β˜€οΈ Sun Safety at School

A friendly reminder to our Thomas Acres families about the importance of sun protection every day at school. πŸ’™πŸ©΅

Please help your child come to school prepared by:

🎩 Bringing their broad-brimmed school hat every day
🧴 Applying SPF 50+ sunscreen before school
☁️ Remembering that UV protection is important even on cloudy or overcast days
🌳 Making use of shade and practising sun-safe habits

Cloudy skies don’t necessarily mean lower UV levels, so it’s important that we continue to protect our children from UV exposure throughout the year.

Thank you for partnering with us to keep our students safe and sun smart. πŸ’™

Together, we can make sun safety a daily habit!
