Thank you to all our wonderful community members who joined us for our combined Book Week, Education Week, and Grandparents Day celebrations last week! Your presence truly made the events special your children, grandchildren and for all of us at Ruse.

We’re also thrilled to announce that our Book Fair sales reached an amazing $12,340—raising much-needed funds to support our library and classrooms. Orders should be arriving in the coming week and will be handed out as soon as possible.

On Thursday or Friday, your child visited the Book Fair and created a wishlist. We always remind students that this is just a wishlist – not all families may be able to make a purchase – but it’s a great way for children to keep track of books they love for upcoming birthdays or special occasions.

Preschool Expressions of Interest are now open!

If you would like your child to attend our new preschool, please complete the EOI form available on our school website. Make sure all required documents are submitted to the school office.

We’re excited to announce that our Book Week celebrations kick off next week! Get ready for a week filled with fun activities and a love of reading. 📚✨

Here is the combined Book Week and Education Week timetable. Please note the following important updates:

* Our apologies if you saw a previous post, but open classrooms will now be on Wednesday, not Tuesday.
* If you attend the Grandparents Day concert as a grandfriend, could you please kindly leave seats available for grandparents first.
* On Wednesday after lunch, our Year 3-6 students will be showcasing all of the extra-curricular activities on offer here at Ruse.
* Anything on the timetable highlighted in yellow is a student-only event and is not open to the community.
* Due to our school enrolment expanding, the Book Parade will be on the school field this year on Friday.
* To celebrate our special grandparents, we are offering ALL grandparents a free sausage sandwich and a bottle of water on Grandparents Day!
* Our canteen will also be selling additional items including sandwiches, hotdogs, pies, sausage rolls, drinks, hot chocolate for students, along with the regular canteen menu.

We look forward to sharing this wonderful week with our school community!

We’re firing up the grill for our Bunnings BBQ at Campbelltown Bunnings on Saturday 29th August. Come along, grab a delicious sausage and support our community. Mark your calendars -bring your friends and family for a tasty day out!

🌟 Enrolments for Kindergarten 2027 are now open! 🌟
Is your child starting school in 2027? We are now accepting enrolments for Kindergarten. If your child turns 5 on or before 31 July 2027, they are eligible to enrol.

Please note: This enrolment is for Kindergarten only and does not include preschool.
