🔦 CEPS SPOTLIGHT 🔦

2-5E had a ROAR-some time getting hands-on with science! Students created their very own fizzing dino eggs and watched in excitement as their creations bubbled, fizzed and revealed the dinosaur hiding inside! 🦕💥

Through this fun experiment, students explored chemical reactions, making predictions, observing changes and discussing what happens when different materials are combined.

Who knew science could be so egg-citing?! 🥚🦖💨

🔦CEPS Spotlight 🔦

5E put their Science coats on to explore pen chromatography and investigate chemical mixtures. Scientists use this powerful technique to see hidden ingredients in ink and food colouring. Students selected a colour to investigate and patiently waited for the components of their colours to reveal themselves after they dipped their paper into water. We had so much fun and learnt a lot about how colours are made.

This week, KC have been exploring photography on our iPads! 📸 We have been learning how to hold our iPads carefully and safely when taking photos. KC have been experimenting with different lighting and taking photos up close, of nature, of our friends, and from far away. We have also been practising making sure the background is clear when taking photos of our friends. We have loved seeing the world through a different lens and capturing all the little things that caught our eye.
