🏃‍♀️ Congratulations to Aimee on her incredible Cross Country success!

After winning both the Glen Iris District and Boroondara Division Championships, Aimee placed 3rd at the SSV Eastern Metro Region Championships, earning a place at the SSV State Championships next month.

Only 12 athletes from each age group qualify for State, making this a fantastic achievement. We are so proud of Aimee’s determination and effort and wish her all the best at Yarra Glen in July! 👏🏅

Yesterday, our P–2 students proudly showcased their Design and Technology learning at our Learning Showcase! 🎮✨

Students designed and created their very own games to play with others, complete with a game name, clear instructions, and an explanation of how to play. It was wonderful to see their creativity, problem-solving skills, and confidence on display as they shared their learning with family and friends.

A big thank you to everyone who attended and supported our young learners. We had so much fun sharing our creations with you! 💙

Today, our staff stepped away from the classroom for a special Faith Formation Day.

We began at the Mary MacKillop Heritage Centre, learning more about Australia’s first saint and her inspiring story of faith and service.
We then gathered for Mass at St Patrick’s Cathedral, celebrated by our very own Fr Paul, before enjoying a wonderful lunch together.

A day of learning, reflection and connection that strengthened our faith and community.

Designing, creating and collaborating!

Today our Prep, Year 1 and Year 2 students put their STEM and design skills to the test using the Nudel Kart. Working together, they planned, built and refined their own games before enjoying playing them with their classmates.

It was wonderful to see so much creativity, problem-solving, teamwork and imagination on display as students transformed simple materials into exciting and engaging games.

What a fantastic way to learn through play!

Our Year 4 students had a fantastic day at Salesian College Chadstone experiencing high school life!

They created bookmarks in Art, explored exciting Science activities by using chemical reactions to inflate balloons and investigating psyllid habitats on leaves through microscopes, participated in a Liverpool FC International Academy Soccer Clinic and finished the day enjoying a live performance from the College band.

A fun-filled day of learning, discovery and new experiences! 🎨🔬⚽🎶
