💙 WHAT AN INCREDIBLE ACHIEVEMENT! 💙

A huge congratulations to our amazing Student Council who raised more than $7,000 through last term’s World’s Greatest Shave! 🎉

This was a completely student-led event, and the incredible result is a wonderful reflection of the initiative, teamwork and leadership shown by our Student Council.

From organising the event to getting our school community behind the cause, our students have shown just what can be achieved when they work together to make a difference.

We are incredibly proud of every member of our Student Council and the positive impact they continue to make across our school community. 💙

🏆🥇 National Champion! 🥇🏆

A huge congratulations to Darcy G, who recently represented South Australia Under 11s at the Australian Inline Hockey National Championships!

For those who haven’t seen it before, inline hockey is essentially ice hockey on wheels and it takes plenty of speed, skill and teamwork.

Darcy and his team had an incredible championships, taking on teams from Queensland, Victoria and New South Wales before finishing on top and bringing home the gold medal! 🥇

What an amazing achievement, Darcy! We are incredibly proud of your hard

🌸 Growing Community Connections! 🌸

We love seeing our students and staff getting involved in our local community! 💙💛

Recently, some of our staff and students lent a hand to the Golden Beach Community Garden group, helping create a fun and colourful flower photo frame for their upcoming Spring Open Day. 🌺📸

The Golden Beach Community Garden Spring Open Day is happening this Sunday, 11 October from 10am–2pm at 195 Westminster Avenue, Golden Beach.

There will be fun for everyone, including face painting, plant a seedling, a pumpkin size guessing competition, composting and worm farm tours, a native bee talk, flower photo board, raffles, sausage sizzle, plants for sale, garden tours and kids’ activities. 🌱🐝🌻

So, if you’re looking for something fun to do this Sunday, head along, explore the garden and be part of this wonderful local community event!

We are so proud of the partnerships we continue to build with local community groups and the opportunities they provide for our students to contribute, connect and make a difference. We love these partnerships! 💙

🏆 Celebrating the Strength of Women’s Rugby League 🏆

A huge congratulations to our teacher, Ella Harris, on taking out the Ironwoman Award at the Sunshine Coast Falcons Awards Night! 🏅👏

It was incredibly special to see Ella celebrating alongside past and present students, all achieving at such an outstanding level.

Congratulations to our past students, Ace P, who took out Best Forward Year and QRL under 19’s player of the year and Mackenzie C, who was named Rookie of the. We also congratulate our current students, Lily B, who was named the QRL Under 17s Player of the Year, and Marley C, a 2026 debutant.

This moment highlights the incredible strength of women’s rugby league within our school community. From our dedicated staff to our talented students and alumni, women across our school continue to demonstrate skill, determination, leadership and a passion for the game.
