1ST VI TOUCH FOOTBALL 🏉

Farrer returned to the statewide finals series for the first time in over a decade.

After wins against Uralla, Armidale Secondary College, Tamworth High, Glen Innes and Cronulla High School, we secured a spot in the Top 10 playoffs at Tuggerah.

Our first game was against Hunter Sports High School. The boys scored first in a hard-fought, back-and-forth contest, before eventually going down 8–6 to last year’s champions.

The boys bounced back strongly, securing wins in our next two games against Kiama High School (8–5) and Jamison High School (9–2), which saw us sitting 2nd in our pool after the first day of play.

The following morning, we faced Terrigal High School in our final pool match, with a spot in the semi-finals on the line. Unfortunately, Terrigal proved too strong, securing a 7–5 victory.

In the 5th and 6th place playoff, we took on Endeavour Sports High School. Keen to finish the tournament on a high, the boys put together a fantastic performance, running out 8–3 winners.

Congratulations to the boys on an outstanding tournament and on finishing 5th in the state!
