Our Story

A community resource to network people and businesses looking for sustainable recycling options. I aim to give people the most up-to-date information about Where they can take What~ city council can’t do everything ~:-)

I also provide a drop off point for some items to be reallocated to others, or sold to cover the costs of running RRC (my hobby biz; once we were a not-for-profit, however I was overwhelmed by the workload and government changes affected our key clients, which affected their ability to contract us to Get Stuff Done).

There is a Shop on the site, used for fundraising monies for RRC petrol/phone/internet/stationary; tax is paid on the income by me via my business @Psych n Stats Tutor.
A Google Drive Excel sheet is in Notes so you can follow what gets sold when, how much and where the monies went.

Reuse and Recycle, Cairns~ bringing awareness to the enormous potential of what we throw in skips or green bins, or simply store for years in draws and cupboards.
