Our little learners have been thoroughly enjoying some exciting new resources in the learning environment this week! 🌿🧸

The dolls house has quickly become a favourite, with children creating imaginative stories, taking on different roles, and working together as they explore. Through pretend play, they’re developing their communication skills, creativity, problem-solving abilities, and social connections—all while having so much fun! 💛

It’s wonderful to watch their imaginations come to life as they create their own little worlds and share special moments with their friends.

🧸✨ Teddy Bears’ Picnic Day ✨🧸

Today our little friends arrived in their comfiest pyjamas, cuddling their favourite teddy bears, ready for a magical Teddy Bears’ Picnic! 💛

The children enjoyed sharing stories with their special furry friends, singing songs, participating in fun activities, and enjoying a picnic together. These simple moments help build imagination, confidence, language skills, and a sense of belonging as children share their treasured companions with their friends.

There were plenty of smiles, cuddles, laughter, and unforgettable memories made throughout the day. Thank you to all our families for helping make this special experience possible by sending along your child’s beloved teddy bear and cosy PJs.

🎨🖤💛❤️ NAIDOC Fun! ❤️💛🖤

Our little artists had a wonderful time celebrating NAIDOC Week through a colourful and creative painting experience! Using the symbolic colours of the Aboriginal flag black, yellow and red the children explored painting with brushes, their hands and plenty of imagination.

There were lots of giggles, messy hands and smiling faces as everyone experimented with different painting techniques, created unique masterpieces and expressed themselves through art. Experiences like these provide opportunities for children to engage with important cultural celebrations in meaningful, age-appropriate ways while developing their creativity, confidence and fine motor skills.

We can’t wait to share more of our NAIDOC Week adventures with you! 🌿✨
