This is something I believe we need to talk about more.
You are not responsible for someone else's actions.
You are not responsible for the abuse, betrayal, lies, rejection or trauma someone put you through.

That belongs to them.
But unfortunately, you can be the one left carrying the damage.
You're the one left with the questions.
You're the one trying to understand why.

You're the one dealing with the anger, hurt, fear and memories.
And sometimes the person who caused all that damage just gets on with their life.

You deserve more than just surviving what happened to you. You deserve the opportunity to live beyond it.
What is one thing you've had to learn to let go of in order to move forward?

That can be bloody hard to accept.
But here's what I've learned...
You can spend years waiting for someone to apologise, explain themselves, take responsibility or finally understand what they did to you.

And that day may never come.
At some point, your healing has to become about you.
Not them.

Healing doesn't mean what they did was okay.
It doesn't mean forgetting.
And it certainly doesn't mean they get a free pass.

It means deciding that what they did to you is not going to control the rest of your life.

They were responsible for their actions.
You are responsible for what you do with your life from here.

Sometimes life has a way of bringing everything to a standstill.

Over the past little while, I've taken a much-needed step back not because I wanted to quit, but because I needed space to breathe, reflect, and reconnect with what truly matters.

I've had to process a betrayal I never saw coming.

The kind that shakes your trust and tests your spirit.

While it would have been easier to place the blame elsewhere, growth begins with taking ownership of my own part in the journey .

Every experience, whether joyful or painful, teaches us something if we're willing to listen.

What hasn't changed is my purpose. My passion to serve, inspire, and empower is stronger than ever.

Today, I return with clearer vision, stronger boundaries, and a grateful heart.
